03 Exhaust manifold crack

I was going down the interstate a few days ago and the SES light came on, the first time in this car for me. I bought a code reader and it read P0174 (lean bank 2). I checked for leaks and cleaned and checked the MAF sensor with no effect. Gas mileage is also down to 17-18mpg on the highway. I usually get 23-26.

I broke down and took it to the dealer rather than start replacing parts and tech found an exhaust leak on the driver side manifold. Lucky for me the exhaust is covered under normal warranty for 8 years 80k. I'm at 7.5 years 74K. It would probably have cost $1500 to 2000 if I paid.

Just posting this incase anyone else has had a similiar problem and couldn't find the answer.

Good info. Did you notice any odd sounds, or was the CEL the only way you noticed there was a problem. Where about was the crack, or do you know? This kind of info would be helpful for those in the future especially those who might wanna do some DIY
