'03 Driver's side Speakers stopped working

Howdy folks, just dropped in for some help for a friend. Her '03 Sentra driver's side speakers stopped working for no reason. Its the stock single CD headunit. Searched and couldn't find anything on it. Wondered if this could be common or a normal/easy fix before I have to possibly start tracing wires.

Negatory, not common enough to have a known simple fix.

Did she get mad and turn it up too loud one day? They're paper cones, after all.

Nope, worked, she went into a store, came back out and then didn't work. Guess I'll investigate.
