03 coupe steering wheel upgrade to a 05-07 steering wheel

Has anyone sucessfully ugraded a 03 g35 coupe steering wheel to the illuminated switches on the 05-07 g 35 coupe? I'm thinking about doing the conversion if the later g wheel will fit on the 03-04 steering column neck. Will i have to do any wiring to the illuminated switches or clock spring? Is this an easy swap?

i have been informed that a 05-07 will fit on a 03 shaft BUT I've been looking at the steering wheel control buttons and they appear to be interchangable by th shape and size of each switch. Does anyone have a part # to a 03-04 steering wheel off a g35 coupe and a part # for a 05-07 g35 coupe steering wheel handy. If part # are the same the switches will interchange out. I know button functions are different but I'm more concerned with fitment right now. I might not even have to change steering wheels?
