03 altima : Wet Floor Carpets

Can anyone help. I bought a rebuilt 2003 Altima 3.5 SE out of NJ, when I drive through puddles the floor carpet gets soaked. I have has it up on a rack while getting the front wheels aligned but can't see anything in particular. Does anyone know what maybe the problem - if there are plugs where would I look for them and how many would there be. Thanks.

lift up the carpet and see if you can tell were the water is coming through.

on a 2003? i doubt it's a rust hole...

How deep of a puddle are you talking about? you shouldnt be driving in water that is any deeper then the sidewall of your tire. You risk sucking water into the engine in alot of cars doing that.
