Ok will i have been doing car audio for years and installed in a pro shop for some time and now i have been ase tech for about 2 years and by no means under stand why this happen. I was installing a viper 5901 and had it running for a week with out keyless and today i had some time and every place i looked and every one i asked said i had to get signal and give trigger to the 2 wires coming right off the key switch on the door because of the can-bus system. ok so i pulled the window out and tested the wires with my power probe every thing win't good. Hooked up the wires to the brain and set for double pulse. This is where every thing win't bad next thing i know my remote to the alarm is not working try pairing it nothing. brain dead. So i try using the driver switch to lock the doors and now the driver door won't lock you can lock it and use the switch to unlock it. So im like maybe a wire is un plug taken the hole thing back apart to find everything is fine in there. So im like ok door lock died nope tested great. check for power on my lines will the unlock works but the yellow wire goes to 12 volt either way you hit the switch. So i checked at the bcm the same thing. now im thinking will right after i plugged in the alarm brain every thing win't bad. checked all fuses that i could think of all good. Is there something else im missing that would make the yellow wire + all the time either way the switch goes? And i don't under stand why it did this. Thanks for any help.

Sorry im used to every one wanting it long with lots of details. What im asking is why did the bcm go on the driver lock side when i plugged in the lock unlock wires from the alarm to the key wires in the door? Every where i read says you most go in the door. Now the yellow wire in the door that goes to the lock not the switch or key the lock it self only gets 12 volts either way you push the switch. the other wire is fine it goes to ground for unlock. Where is every one getting the alarm lock and unlock wires i don't want to blow up 2 bcm's? pass side lock and unlock still work.

I need to know exactly which wires you tied into in the door? You failed to mention that, which is easily the most pertinent fact I need to know! Give me wire colors.

Ok i taped the 2 wires on the 3 wire harness from the key cylinder in the door i think one was blue. There was a ground wire that was black and i can't remember the other wire. I had to put the car back together because it was not my shop. I tried to look on alldata to get you the colors i played with. Again i tested it with my power probe and it worked great.

And you tested the wires via turning the key in the drivers door cylinder?

Also, does your power windows still function 100% correctly... auto mode etc. from the drivers switch?

yes tested with a friedn turning the key in the door worked great. I taped in like one foot away from the key hole it self. Windows still work great.
