03 350z Base Model Vs 03 Audi TT Which do you think would win?

My friend has an 03 Audi TT and i have a 03 nissan 350z. We never really got into a full out argument who would win in the race. He thinks maybe his car,I think my car. Just wanted to get some opinions. Maybe soon enough well just race and see. We both work alot so its kind of rough trying to acually plan something out. .

O yea he will be getting a nissan Gt-R. So i guess soon it will not even be a question. He already put the 5k deposit on 2 GT-Rs because he got them at MSRP so whichever comes first he will purchase. I hope he lets me take it for a test drive. : )

you should win. The tt's are kind of slow. if he thinks he will win, you should take the time to smoke him.

So did everything work out as far as that electrical problem you were having? Is everything all good now?

I will definatly ask him before he gets his GT-R so i have some what satisfaction at the moment. Hes gonna smoke the nutz off me when gets the GT-R though. Yea i think the power issue is resolved. Thanks for asking about that. I disconnected the alarm which was in my opinion all jacked up. Apparently the fog lights and alarm was rigged into one wire with about 6 relays and fuses connected to a wire the size of a mouse cord. Interesting i guess. I hope the person that hooked all that up burns in a car fire or something horrible. No 350z should ever be treated like that.

The TT's have different levels. Base model in '03 was 180hp with 0-60 in 7.9 (coupe) - 8.1 (vert) seconds. Then there is the 225hp quattro AWD version with 0-60 in 6.3 (coupe) - 6.7 (vert) assuming it has the 6sp.

The '03 Z with 6sp does 0-60 in appx 5.8-ish seconds.

Man when I first bought my Z I was at a red light and a TT pulled up and he kind of gave me that nod. I had no idea how fast they were i just wanted to race anything win or lose. I smoked him like a brisket. I did not even get out of 3rd when he let off cause he was so far back. Needless to say my marbles swole with pride in my little Z. You should beat him rather handily.

the z will destroy the tt and if u throw in a few turns u will never see him again cause the awd system never fully turns off the traction control and makes u take corners really slow

even my old RSX could beat a base TT...(one exhaust )
