03-04 wierd engine 'burp' ?

after I put the M into drive and start driving slowly (under 10mph) w/in the first 50 feet or so my engine is making a weird sound..sounds like a burp you make w/out opening your mouth if you know what i mean? That's the only time I get that sound is after I start moving foward. I thought it could just be something warming up but I kept my car in park and waited for the sound and had none...any ideas what can it be?

it is the abs pump cycling. mine does it as well.

Correct abs normal "burp". The first time I heard it I wondered what it was also.
