I know we have discussed the ish out of this topic but i am getting desperate to find springs. Let me first say that i am not very knowledgeable on springs.

I did some research (that may have been discussed in another topic) and as everyone knows that tein, espiler, tanabe, RSR and some more companies make springs for the japan y34.

Using these websites:

http://www.espelir.co.jp/sp%20...l#q45

http://www.tein.co.jp/search/s...ISSAN

It seems like the espiler drops the car much lower than tein(15-20mm). But the espiler has a higher spring rate. Does that mean that even though it lowers the car more than the tein, it takes more weight to compress it? If so, wouldn’t that mean that even though it is 15-20mm lower the actual amount it lowers out car will be somewhere between what tein claims and what espiler claims to lower the car?

Has jason tried on the espiler springs yet? I like the way teins make the car look but i would like it more if the tires were close as possible to the fender.

I have espilars on order as well...

What I fear, is the espilar show a drop more in the rear than the front, where on tein site, its more of a drop in the front than the rear but when installed on the US cars, it lowers about even front and rear... Im afraid the espilar will drop even lower in the rear...

well see when they come in...

Any guesstimate as to when they will arrive?

Am I reading the specs on the websites wrong. It seems like tein says the drop is 25mm front and 22mm rear. Espiler says the drop is 40-45mm front and 35-40mm rear. Am i reading it wrong or reading the specs of the wrong car?

a little lower in the rear would be good since the car has somewhat of a raked look.

Ali,

I hate the metric system what is that in inches!!!

The guys here have all beat this spring topic to death. Eibach,H&R,JIC,Tanabe,Tein have all been talked about and its unfortunate that there is not much out there.

I have a pair of stock/oem 03 04 M45 springs if anyone wants to chop them up. I'll never put them back in, even if I sell the car.

The TEIN Drop more like 22mm front (about .9") and 30 in the rear 1.2" on the US...

They have been on order since I ordered the first set of TEIN's... (long time...)

Im quicker at getting TEIN than Espilar...

I also deal JIC, I can check on their availability on Monday...
