03/04 m45 mp3 conversion...

I've been searching the past couple hrs looking for this, but havent had any luck.when i first bought my used m45 a year ago, i found a thread about replacing the tape deck with a LCD screen that could be used as a mp3 player somehow. anyone have any info on this? about to go on a 5k mile roadtrip and this would be handy! if not i did find this tutorial on installing a headphone jack, but the lcd screen would be pimp!

Once the weather gets a bit nicer I will be replacing my tape player with a new unit/screen. The thing is its not just as simple as putting in a screen. The tape player is the brain of the entire bose system, if you remove it you need to replace it with a whole new stereo system. I will be putting in the new Kenwood DNX-9140 DVD/Nav piece. When I do it I will take pictures and do a write up on it. If you wanna wait then a simple tape adapter will work for you in the mean time, if not then make sure you take pictures and post.........Boon
