My question is regarding putting OEM wheels from an 03-04 M45 on an 07 M45. I bought a set of wheels from a guy that I believe are from an 03-04. He advertised them as being from an 07, but then he also had conflicting pictures in his post. Anyhow, not a huge deal to me if they work and look ok. I just want to use them as winter wheels in order to keep my nicer wheels in good shape. Let me know what you guys think or if you can find any pictures of this setup. Thanks everyone.

I am not sure, but I think that the offset will work, but the wheels and tires may be a bit outside the fender and the tire could rub on the fender - particularly if your car is lowered in any way. No way to really correct this, since you would have to remove material from the inside of the wheel hub - call it a "negative spacer" :chuckle: - and that is likely to be unsafe and dangerous.

Ok, well thanks for the reply. They guy I bought them from said he had them on his 07. I did a quick calculation using some online calculators and it looks like if I use the 04 factory tire size it would poke about 0.2" more than the factory 18x8's. I think that's ok since what I have on there now is a 20x10 +42 in the rear and they still clear ok.
