I also would buy them right now for 500.

I've seen other photos that looked like they had some kind of harness and a rubber gasket around them.

I'd sure like to see them on an M and lit up.

No one knows if it is plug and play?

If you guys are really interested and not just waisting time I will put a list together and we can go from there. If you guys are in a hurry, sorry I will only be able to get the next person on a/the list. You guys can email me at [email protected] if you have any questions. Ill have details within a few days.D

Those tails look hot on the silver.

That's what I have. I can't resist. I must have them.

hmm why the color variation between the two black cars and the white one. The last pic of the black car almost seemed smoke grey as opposited to the clear in that first pic of the black. If they came in smoke grey as the last black car depicted I'd be in there with you guys, but it may be a flash or time of day allusion(sp)

I agree, silver will compliment this look the most.

I honestly have no idea as I have never seen these in person yet. As somebody stated before there might be LED and non-LED units so maybe that could be it. Or it could be an illusion or lighting difference. Or it could be that the last black one has a light tint over it. Who knows? I had a pic of them lit up but I cant find it anymore, they are very very nice!Cheers

Yes, I'm getting them form Shuji. He quoted me $540 shipped. I sent him funds via Paypal this morning. He said it should take a week. It's more then I wanted to spend too, but what the heck. You only live once and I know NO ONE has those tails he in NM. They should look sharp on my Brilliant Silver M.

So does anyone know anything about the wireing conversion from our Halogen tail lights for these LED ones? I'm hoping it's as easy as spliceing a few wires and soldering to the correct wires.

Since some of you guys have done some extensive research on these lamps, does anyone know if they have built in load resistors?

It would make sense to me that they would but you never know. I just want to make sure I install these correct.

Got my new tails in today.

I'm going to test them when I get home.

Opened the box and the first one was in perfect condition, almost brand new. Removed the second one and noticed it had some small dust and particles and some minor water stain on the reflectors. Let's hope that one works. The LED part is perfect but where the incandescent bulbs go (indicator and reverse) the reflector isn't as shiny as the other tail. Almost looks like the light had about of inch of water in it at one time or just sat in some water, so the bottom reflectors are a little dingy.

Heres a question. How can I clean those? It doesn't look like I can remove the lens. It looks like it might be welded plastic on plastic. I for sure do not want to stick them in the oven to heat up the adhesive. Is my best bet to get Qtips and alcohol and start cleaning them form the small hole the bulbs attach too?

It's a shame it came in the condition it did since the other one was pristine so it's noticeable up close. I bought them is used condition so I couldn't expect them to be perfect. I mean I saw teh first one adn was just so happy, then un packed the othe rone and was like WTF?

Anyone ever have to clean their tail light reflectors?

Looks like they are plug in play. Same connectors and everything like our OEM tails.

They are not "glued" together, they are ultrasonic welded. They'll break before they come apart. Let us know how it goes.

Nice!

I'm going to clean them with some alcohol, qtips and some microfiber. This should be tedious. Unless someone has another suggestion.

After I test them tonight I'll take pics and post.

Okay! Cleaned the one up w/ some alcohol and a microfiber towel and a long screw driver seemed to do the trick okay. Not perfect but it will work.

To dark now to take pics and I need to finish some other stuff. I'll take day pics tomorrow morning and post.

These babys are bright!

How about one at night with brakes on and off. I should be getting mine soon, I found a brand new set that was supposedly lying around for some reason.
