Got my new tails in today.
I'm going to test them when I get home.
Opened the box and the first one was in perfect condition, almost brand new. Removed the second one and noticed it had some small dust and particles and some minor water stain on the reflectors. Let's hope that one works. The LED part is perfect but where the incandescent bulbs go (indicator and reverse) the reflector isn't as shiny as the other tail. Almost looks like the light had about of inch of water in it at one time or just sat in some water, so the bottom reflectors are a little dingy.
Heres a question. How can I clean those? It doesn't look like I can remove the lens. It looks like it might be welded plastic on plastic. I for sure do not want to stick them in the oven to heat up the adhesive. Is my best bet to get Qtips and alcohol and start cleaning them form the small hole the bulbs attach too?
It's a shame it came in the condition it did since the other one was pristine so it's noticeable up close. I bought them is used condition so I couldn't expect them to be perfect. I mean I saw teh first one adn was just so happy, then un packed the othe rone and was like WTF?
Anyone ever have to clean their tail light reflectors?
Looks like they are plug in play. Same connectors and everything like our OEM tails.
