:

so i did this:

Quote »1. Turn key on.2. Once airbag light has displayed for 7 seconds, turn key off within 1 second.3. Wait more than 3 seconds4. Repeat 1, 2 and 3 two more times (three on/off cycles total)5. Turn key to on - this puts the system in diagostic mode.

Notes - the 7 second delay corresponds to the normal on-time of the airbag lights. Just switch the key off as soon as they go out - wait at least 3 seconds, then repeat the cycle.

There are a series of flashes that will indicate the source of the malfunction, but in my case, I really didn't care about the flashes, as I was the cause of the malfunction by disconnecting/reconnecting the passenger airbag.

Once you're in diagnostic mode, resetting the light will occur once you turn the key off, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on again - this puts it back in "user" mode.[/quote]and nothing happened.....

it says: the 7 second delay corresponds to the normal on-time of the airbag lights. Just switch the key off as soon as they go out

but my light doesn't go out, that's the problem....what am i doing wrong?

im not suppose to crank the engine right, just turn the keey to the on position right?

No your not supposed to crank it, just put it in the on position. When you turn your car on your Airbag light should be on solid, then 7 seconds later it will start to blink. As soon as you see the light go out (go from solid to blinking) turn the car off.

You have to do 3 complete on off cycles and then the 4th time you turn it on the airbag light should flash rapidly then go out.

Let me know.........
