I didn’t want this to slip through the cracks in the classified section and go unnoticed, so moderators please excuse me.

Rim size and offset will be key. I have my original set of eibach on my car with 20’s and no rubbing at all. The previous owner of the springs in question didn’t report any rubbing and not to sound like a broken record but, rims size and offset will need to be taken into consideration.

I would suggest that all you guys who have been wailing for lowering springs for the 03-04 m45 to jump on this. There is no other way to get springs other than importing from Japan like i did.Let the bidding war begin.

I appreciate your asking! I will leave it here for now.

(Yes, it is a bit of a rule violation but I have some latitude in how I mod this forum. But, note to all folks, please don't use it as an excuse to get carried away!)

I can only imagine the time it took and the shipping cost from Japan

thanks for the pardon and in no way will I make this a habit. This is a rare part for a rare car and I didn't want it to go un seen.

It seems that way, but not the case. I had a feeling this would happen and I feel bad that you feel that way, but I'm in no position to say "sorry" I have nothing but the up-most respect for you and the members of this forum. I've known you since the Acura-Legend days and I felt the same then. If I knew this was going to happen I may have consulted with you. My plans have changed a little with my car and I knew this prior to purchasing your springs. I purchased your springs to keep my options open. I’ll give you folks the low down in order to keep my good name on this forum. I have a co-worker who wants my car “AS IS” and I’ve known this for months now. Rather he buys it or not... we will see. I’ve been eyeing a Black ClS55’s lately, so selling my car is a must if I’m going to make that happen.

Like I mentioned earlier, I wanted to keep my options open, so I proceeded to purchase MrMarks springs just in case…I’ve always admired the stance of Marks ride and that is why I was persistent in asking for the sale of them. I knew the rears were modified and that was even better. If I were to install your (MrMark) springs and flip mine on eBay would I be a bad guy? Now, rather they are my original eibachs or Marks eibachs on eBay; what is the difference? You gave me a price and I paid it with no questions or hesitations. I remember the thread where you mention you were selling them and I suggested eBay. I would have gladly bidded on them. I do not need two set lying around. I’d rather sell one and spread the love with another member (on this forum). I have a feeling I’m going to regret selling them, but I’ll deal with it. I’ve been very anxious to get them on my car, but like I said earlier….. Hopefully, the rotten smell will go away. I'm a little vexed by what has been said, but ..... There is no iconic face in the icon list that can really begin to describe how I feel.

How much did the dealer charge you to have them installed? I wonder how it would look w/ teh stock 18's.

I'd take them off your hands but not for the 200 bones, save you shipping hassle and everything.

Hmmmm......with damaged rear coils for more than new list price?

I think not!

Paid about 1/3 of that for my undamaged used ones for my FGY33.

I would suggest that if you do not like it, just move on gracefully instead of trashing the person selling them.

Those who bid on the item understand the pain of trying to get a set of these eibach springs. All that blabber while people are still bidding on the item.

Not that am coming to cakedaddy's defense. In fact I hate the guy!!! (you eibach hog you..) . Just that some sentiments are better kept off the boards.

I'm just dissapointed since I sold them to you for a very low price because we go back.....

I was going to sell them on ebay but I thought I was doing a good deed selling them to you for a low price. Now I log back on just in time to see them selling for twice the amount I sold them to you.

That's why I don't think it's cool.........but that's just my opinion.....

if mr. cakedaddy really believed he wouldn't be selling them, then he should forward the profit from the springs to you. besides, he's rich see he's buying a very expensive mercedez just ask his girlfriend bennifer hopez.

Point taken and I respect your opinion.

I suggested Ebay, but I was grateful regardless. Thank You

For all the folks who bidded, sorry! Looks like someone used a bogus ebay acct and messed it up for everyone by ramping up the price to something ridiculous(sp) with a bad acct name. I'll list'em them again or get at me via email ([email protected] and we can work something out.

I do not mind you hating one me or being envious (I'm use to that from others), but to hate and wreck the efforts of the member here that bidded is another story, so to the individual(s) who did this; you are a true GIFT to the CURSE! CONGRADULATIONS..

After reading the begining of this post I was impartial as to if Cake was being a greedy *** or if Mark was being bitter about not getting what he could have for the springs.

After reading the last post by Cake I am going with cake being an *** period. You could have easily saved your (internet)friendship with Mark and your name on these boards by doing the right thing and offering to split the profit with him or just sell them to another member for what you got them for, thus paying forward the nice jesture that Mark gave you. Instead you choose to throw them up on ebay and promote them on here.

I have read these forums for a bit now as I was looking to buy an M45 for quite some time. Hard to think my second post on here is because some *** clown wants to rip off fellow M45 owners.

You might have meant well, but when you got called out you had the opportunity to save face, and you my friend have not done so.

Good day...... I said Good day!

And your opinion means……………. Nothing. Try padding your post count before coming here jaw jacking at me with all that noise you learned from the movie 8 Mile. You are lucky I’m even addressing you.

People, please spare me the mindless rhetoric’s and name calling.

I can’t believe a simple eBay sale has turned into such a production.

Get back in my Belly Boon.... I said Get Back in! <--- my new sig!

Don't get mad at me, I just call them as I see them.

I just honestly don't know how you don't see the error in your ways and haven't tried to rectify it in some way, shape, or form.

This board is obviously not for two guys to have a pissing match, and honestly I shouldn't have personally attacked you, for that I'm sorry. I just think its kinda ****ty that you are trying to gain from somebody else's generosity. Give someone else the deal you got, thats all I'm saying.................... Boon

Oh yea, pretty sure that nothing I said sounded anything like what you would hear in the movie or on the street. Pretty sure what I said was pretty well worded. Just my opinion though. Not everyone from Detroit lives on 8 mile.

Guys, there is no reason for this rancor to continue in this manner. Ultimately, it is simply not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. Please feel free to take the discussion into e-mail as necessary.
