There has been a lot of talk about belt or crankshaft driven fans in the 03 and 04 Sedans.

Here is some information I pulled out of the FSM.

The 03 and 04 Sedans were the only Gs with Crank driven cooling fans. They were only found on the A/T.

In the 2004.5, the fans were switched to only electric motor driven.

The FSM also refers to 03/04 A/Ts with electric motor driven fans (two pages one with crank driven and one with motor driven).

This is very interesting, because it adds the possibility of using a factory, direct swap electric fan.

More to come...

Interesting...Anyone know if the 03-04 sedans have the plugs/hook ups for the stock electric motor to be installed already on the car? It would make a swap a lot easier, and after a little more research, will hopefully be my next mod.
