Hello folks, long time since last here.
2 quick questions :
1) How to replace the light bulb for the clock & where to find bulb (Napa?)
2) Car starts up fine, but just as u rev the motor, right at the beginning it sounds a bit rough, just for that initial rpm climb (about 1/2 second). Tried injector cleaner. Need plugs or ? Vehicle has 127k.
Thanks
Haggis

1) Not sure about replacing, but check out our vendors to find the part you need: http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/nissan ... icing.html

2) Anything like this?

Your MAF and fuel pump/filter would be worth checking out first.

I have the SAME EXACT problem with the rough idle. For the first half a second or so as you start up the car, it sounds like a tank, right?

I asked a mechanic about this and he said that it's basically normal and there isn't much you can do about it. The sound is caused by the friction in the engine before the oil gets to it. Since the oil takes about a second to get to the engine components, you hear the tank-like sound for that short period of time. After the oil starts circulating, though, I have a smooth idle around 800 RPM in park and almost 550 in drive.

2. I have this exact symptom if the car sits for more than a day or two. The hydraulic lifter assys bleed down leaving excessive play in the valve train until oil pumps them back up. I've been told this is not unusual or harmful.
