im gonna be porting my heads soon but was told that if i polish them it wont run as good when i put my turbo and that the heads would crack can someone tell what i should do ??

I don't see why polishing would do that. Dunno who told you that, but they're probably going off some horror story that's not indicative of what usually happens.

If I were worried about anything with a turbo SE-R, it'd be frying the rings or, worse, bending the rods. That's easily avoided by proper tuning and boost control, though.
