I just put on new pads and rotors for my Spec-V. And when I was switching them out I noticed there was a lot of grease. After doing some fishing around I kind of noticed that it was coming from the CV Joints. The boots didn't seem to have any cuts or slits in them, but I figured I could just have missed it. Either way the CV Joint isn't clicking on either side which leads me to believe that they are still in good shape, which is a relief because I don't feel like paying for and replacing axles on each side. But either way, I've hunted around Advanced Auto and Auto Zone and have yet to find a parts shop that sells just the boot for the car.

So my question is, is there any reason as to why the CV Joint would be loosing the grease without having a cut in it? And if it is the boot, where can I just find the boot without having to replace the entire axle?
