2002 Sentra SE-R Spec V, Apexi N1 catback, other than that completely stock...

I bought the car roughly 3 months ago and the check engine light was not on. I scanned it anyway, and it threw codes for both oxygen sensors (apparently somewhere along the line someone pulled the check engine light bulb). I replaced both sensors, but did not have access to the scan tool anymore so I unhooked the battery for a while hoping that would clear them.

Went to emissions today, and failed:
P0037 HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low Bank 1 Sensor 2

I took care of the first sensor, but the second is still throwing a code. Why would it do this with a new sensor? I checked the wiring and all looks good, so where would you guys recommend I go from here?

Thanks in advance...

I would recommend replacing that second O2 sensor. I always recommend replacing the O2 sensors in pairs that way this doesn't happen.

My bad, must have skipped right over that part. I'll be of more help a bit later when I get home from work. In the mean time, check out the FSM and see what it says. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Sentra/2002/ and see what it says about that code.
