02 sentra SE-R engine removal

I am going to be pulling my engine out to install another one and my question is: is there enough room to undo the engine from the 5-spd trans and pull it out of the car from the top with the transmission still in the car.

yes you did and I appreciate it. but now I am thinking about leaving the trans in the car so I do not have to pull the axles. what do you think it easiest. engine only or engine and trans together.

Leaving the axles in will make it just that much harder. If you do, you can only go out the bottom.

I think he meant unbolting the engine from the transmission and leaving the transmission and axles in while removing only the engine. I don't think that would force him to go out through the bottom.

can I just unbolt the engine from the transmission and lift the engine out of the car from the top leaving the transmission in the car hooked up still to everything is my question.
