My SE-R(automatic) dies in the middle of driving. I'm not driving hard or anything(thank god). It's pretty scary too cause when the car dies I lose power steering and brakes. My wife took the car to the Nissan dealership while I was deployed and they said it has something to do with the computer. I'm not sure what they did, but the car ran without problems for about a year. Unfortunately, it died again while driving. I took it home, took a look around, cleaned the battery and now the car's completely dead. No power at all. I don't even get the dash lights to come on when I stick the key into the ignition. The battery is reading is good and I even tried switching the battery from my 240 into the SE-R. Still nothing. Sorry for the long post but has anyone had this problem.

Have you checked the ground wire connection leading to the chasis? Sounds like this might be altenator issues as well.

THanks, I did check the ground. It's good. I found out it has something to do the position of the coolant temp sensor. It's a recall issue for the QR25 engines.
