Hey i got a 02 sentra gxe with 185xxx miles on it (yay for lots of miles)The rear struts are gone well basicly the thing hops more than lowriders do.What would be my best option?1. Replace all the springs struts with spec-v suspension parts.2.replace just the struts with aftermarket parts.3.Replace all parts with aftermarket suspension parts.

If i went with 1. should i go to a junk yard and rip out the suspension from a wrecked one or buy it online?

And if i replaced all the springs and struts what brands and how much would it cost?

I got a friend who does all this for 50$ an axle so taking more time wouldnt really matter its just a flat rate.

thanks in advance for this long questionair.

Depends on what you want. Is this a car you want to invest money in modding, or do you just want a little more fun in your drive or what?

I say your best bet is Spec struts (low miles junkyard/classified or new) with an Eibach ProKit. The stiffer Spec struts can handle a Pro Kit and it'll lower you about an inch, reduce bouncy-ness, and add a bit of fun to your commute.

haha yeah anything to reduce bouncyness. The highway is allmost a no go for the car now.....it bounces way to much and even with my allpro driving skills the backend slids out plus the back tires have no tread left (due to the struts). Thanks for the advice tho i will deffinetly do this

i was in the same boat and i got the nismo suspension kit, its awesomebut if you want to adjust your best to go with koni (after months of research it seemed the to be the #2 choice)i've gone junkyard hunting alot and most of the suspension looks the same and who knows how well it'll do on your ride (most yards will only give you credit to)

I found the Eibach pro kit for 200$ and the two spec v struts for 50 each. Should i replace all the struts since im replacing the springs?

Also i need a Cv joint replace anywhere to get parts for this job i dont know what will be needed for it as in the little misc parts that allways screw you over when you need them.

And is there anyway to raise the ride hight after doing this? A little drop is ok but 1.5" in the front is a little too much i think. Speed bumps hate me enough allready. Thanks

Yes, the un-blown stock struts will likely blow soon with a Pro Kit.

trust me you won't notice it after driving in it a couple times.

I guess and i have thought about it and with new struts and springs my car will probobly only be lowered a fraction of that seeing as my car as is sits very low due to bad struts (very noticable in the back). thanks all
