02 sensor wires

i just got a 02 sensor that has red, white and black wires on it and my sr harness to the 02 sensor has brown/yellow, white, and brown. and the connectors arnt the same. so im stuck i even ordered it by part#. the one thats off of heavy throttles web site. wtf

just splice on the right connector,thats what i had to do.

i dont have the right connector, when i got my engine it didnt have a 02 sensor at all. the 02 sensor wire are red, blk, and white. what should i do.

the colors are right on both sides of your harness.what you need to do is just go to your local auto parts store and use a generic 3 wire o2 with the same clip.

thanks i found that last link u put for me and i figured it out real quik, thats weird that i used the part # that heavy throttle has on its web site and i ordered it from a different source and they sent me the right o2 but the connector was different. it was bosch sensor. so i was like wtf. then i just prayed it was going to work all i had to do was wire them together with out the connectorsi just didnt know which was which. i have a question do you know if the car will run ok with 0ut a o2 sensor. my car started it just didnt run right when i drove it. now that i put the o2 in it runs nice. so im thinking the car isnt going to be ok without a 02 in it, but someone was saying on those links u posted- that their car ran fine without a o2. im just wondering if thats possible.

im not running an o2 sensor, but im also running a power fc. I ran my eclipse without an o2 sensor, only difference was bad gas mileage =x
