I really don't want to remove my dp and get the bung welded on. I am still trying to hunt down the correct wiring so I could just fake the signal back to the ecu. I know on VW you can remove the 02 sensor and the car will be better just your gas mileage goes down... What are the downside effects if I removed it from my car...I'm hearing that it retards timing?I'm running 7lbs..How much does it retard.Because if it's a little bit then it will just protect me..Or should I find the way to fake signal/ go disconnect and get it welded...*wideband is not going to be here permanently* Switching it to my VG when it comes in.

One piece of advice that has saved me many times. "Do things the right way the first time, and you don't have to do it again later" I would weld the bung in or fake the narrow band signal so you know it is tuned right. My .02

Seems no one knows hwo to properly fake the signal though...Well think im going to chance it and try it based on a guess.6. Connect the system ground to where you will use the analof out signals. If you use the analog out signals as input for ecu/data logger, connect system ground to the ground of ecu/data logger.

Do I connect directly to the ground of the ecu? The ground wire that comes of the ecu, the one I used for my safc? Couldn't I just take it to my battery ground?

depending on the type of wideband you get, some have an O2 narrowband simulator. you can run that to your ECU and just run the wideband sensor. have you already purchased a wideband setup?

I just need ot know where my system and analog ground go to.They both go to the same location. Read above the step 6. ecu/data logging Everythign else is fine. Don't want to go spend an hr removing my dp and spending $25 to get the bung welded...Ecu ground...Can't I just go to the battery ground?
