This is what I got from AutoZone
Troublecode 0bdII (Alpha) P Code
Trobleshooting P0430The PCM has determined that the catalyst system efficiency for bank 2 is below threshold for the current engine operating conditions. (bank 1 identifies the location of cylinder #1. while bank 2 identifies the cylinders on the opposite bank 1)
Can anyone tell me which sensor it is?

It could mean that the warmup cat (just below the exhaust manifold) is bad. Like Fezzik said on 502; there is an ECU program that could possibly help, but you may still have to replace the warmup cat.

Not sure about the VQ30, but I have seen others have similar codes when the honeycomb section of the pre-cat falls apart and patrially blocks the main cat in the VQ35.

My car throws that code when I use cheap low octane gas. It goes away if I add a bottle of octane boost. As far as installation, your best bet would be a local muffler shop. If they run into fitment problems, they have the means to correct it. You may want to check them out first, sometimes they can get parts cheaper...--Mike

I agree with Mike G. My engine light came on 2x after my teenager put cheap gas in the car. Mechanic told me my 02 sensor needed replaced. But 7-10 days after filling up with 89-octane gas the light went off. (both times)
