02 Sensor Problem... I think

Recently I just got a top end rebuild on my engine, after all that, my car would run fine when you turn it on, but once u turned it off, the next time you turned it on it would laaaaaag wouldnt pull at all past 3.5-4K rpms, so we changed the plugs to nGK, little help, changed some wiring harness, that was actually very helpful, so im thinkin that since they oput in some wack "universal" 02 sensor that it may be the problem.(the fromt 02 sensor). it retails for like 160, but i can get it for like 92 bux. does anyone have any inputs on this.?????

If they put in a cheapo O2 sensor it can give you problems. Personally, I would put the correct one in.
