okay...ive been having a problem with my a/f ratio gauge workin(i have a post "a/f gauge working sparatically")...i think its the 02 sensor but i bought the 300zx and its still acting the same...i was reading another thread about how somebody had more power at half throttle over full throttle...and im experiencing this too....he said it cleared up when he put a new 02 sensor in ..but mine didnt??...my question is ...is what octane are u guys runnin in ur sr's...cause i put 93 in mine..but a guy i work with said i might be getting too much unburnt fuel(with such a high octane)and the 02 is getting a rich reading and leaning it out???im not sure whats goin on...any input on gas grade or maybe what 02 sensor i should use would really help..i think im gonna return this one back to autozone(30 day warranty)....any input is much appreciated.

On a unrelated note, did the Z31 O2 bolt right on and plug in? I've heard the plug won't match. I just put in a 87 200SX O2 from the 1.8 Turbo and it bolts right into the Greddy elbow (big hole) and has the same plug as the harness (Redtop). If you are running the stock elbow remove the reducer nut and there you go. Just in case this helps someone else out.

Definitly not running on too high of octane. In japan they run 98-100.

Octane ratings in Japan are different than here. Their 93 wouldn't be the same as our 93.

I don't have a gauge but it is running fine. No codes, pulls like normal, normal gas consumption.
