Folks, the shade that slides below the moonroof on my QX4 came off the track - just on the driver's side.

Outside of bending it and possibly destroying it, how do I get it back into the track?

probably going to have to remove or drop down the headliner to do it, might be some useful info or pictures in the FSM in the BT section on it

FSM BT section states that I need disassemble the moonroof, reset the shade and then re-install the moonroof. I don't plan on doing this just yet because I have a fully functional moonroof....

Yes probably would be a big job to remove and reinstall the moonroof, if it were I would probably just yank the shade off and leave it off.

Makes sense. I was able to finnagle it to get it to slide along the tracks....sorta, without getting jammed and stuck.
So I'm going to leave it as it is for now. Should it go back to being jammed, I'll just yank it off like you suggested.
