Can someone confirm please? I've read what I can find on this subject and just want to make absolutely sure that there is no doubt. I have "all mode"(?) 2wd/auto/4x4/lo selector switch, so hubs will not damage my t'fer case unless I try to run in AUTO with hubs disengaged? I won't do this unless it's not up for debate anymore that it's actually safe if you don't screw it up by running unlocked/AUTO at the same time. Anyone run hubs for a period of years with no issues? Thank you.

No worries either way. When you replace the front wheel drive flanges with free running locking hubs, there will be no issues with the All Mode transfer case even if the hubs are unlocked and you have the selector in Auto or 4WD.

Good to hear. Mile or two per gallon, less component wear, lighter steering- how could I not. Thank you.
