02 QX4 FOB to open windows

Today I was helping wifey with unloading groceries from back seat and while holding keys with FOB and bags, I noticed that the front windows both lowered together about halfway down and stopped. I must have been pressing something on my Fob for this to happen. Is there a function on FOB to lower front windows with keys out and front door open. Kinda freaked me out when it happened so I had a beer and a shot to simmer down.
Anyone familar with this? Any other things with the FOB I should know.

Hi there, yes the fob does do that. I use it when it's hot out and
going towards the car I press the unlock button once, then press and hold the unlock button and the windows will lower half way, let go and press and hold again and it will open fully. My co-worker has an Acura tl and his does the same but all windows and sunroof open.. Pretty convenient on hot days.

I don't know if it works different on yours than on my 03, funny man, but I can control just how far they drop. Hold the button and let go as soon as they start and you crack the windows. If instead you keep holding, you can stop it half way, or all the way down

Hold down unlock for more than two seconds, the front windows will go down until you let go of the button.

Stupid thing is, there's no function on the fob to put the windows back up.

Our 06 G35 has that, but my 01 Pathy LE does not

I'm fairly certain that this feature is only from 2002 on. My 2006 Altima works the same way.
Most cars have this feature, from what I've seen. My friends' Lexus does it, as well as my in-laws' Acura.
You cannot raise the windows with the FOB, but you can raise (and lower) them with the key in the front door lock.
No need to get inside the truck to raise the windows.
Turn and hold the key clockwise to lower, and turn and hold counterclockwise to raise.
