02 QX4 back-up lights

Happy New Year to everyone!

The owner's manual does not show the the way to remove it. The back-up lamp looks just like a permanent piece that does not pop out. Does anyone know how? Do I need to remove the license plate light cover first?

Really? You mean the whole plastic piece inside should be taken off so I can have access to the back-up light bulbs? Remember I took the inside handle off but still couldn't get the panel off. Maybe it needs force to pop out. The reason I ask this is that I will probably install a back up device called "AUTOPARK 2000".
