There is no OEM air suspension on either the Y34, the FGY33, nor the F50.

If you are going aftermarket, you are pretty much on your own.

If you are truly aware of the facts, then there is no question, is there?

If parts have the same Nissan Part number then they are the same. The two have different part numbers so they are not the same.

As far as physical fit, one wpuld have to buy both and compare. Unlikely that any shop would intentionally order the wrong parts to just see if they physically fit.

Why not get a aftermarket M suspension?

There are probably more parts for it, Aftermarket wise.

Well thats as bad as you can get. Because the way to get parts is:

BEST: OEM New, OEM Authorized manufactures, Used OEM, Used OEM Authorized manufactures, New aftermarket, Used aftermarket. WORST

Ask the dealership if the parts are interchangeable. If they are...then just go with Insurance Coilovers...

No need to shout!

Like Q45tech said, if the OEM parts are the same number, the part is the same. If not, then they are not. They might fit, but function differently when it comes to operational parameters.

Your best bet is to find the Eibachs and order the KYB SR Specials from

http://www.memoryfab.com (presuming they would fit)

as it will take 6-8 weeks for them to arrive. If for some reason they do not fit, you should be able to recover your money easily if they are not installed.

FGY33 and Y34 are very similar in suspesion design. The problem is, only the US Y34 came with the VK45DE, so no parts other than springs.

Because the Very Impaired Performance "Snowplow Look" is certainly a detriment on anything but a billiard table, sticking with OEM from Joe might be a better use of your money, then spend the balance on great wheels and tires for each season to maximize your performance return.

Your car may not look as Kewel in the parking lot, but hell, you're usually cool in Canada anyway, eh? Go for increased dynamic performance, not static kiddie fashion.
