Just bought an 02 Q45 and after doing some research I came across an article that stated the Lexus LS400 was actually faster in the 1/4 mile and from 0 - 60mph. Is this true?

This is true, but the 02 Q's power is accurate. Throttle response and gearing were reasons why real-world acceleration didn't match the LS.
