What is that thing doing back at the dealer? Looks like someone dropped another 5-7 grand in it and just brought it back. I could do without the LCDs but the 20s don't look bad.

i usually do like the chrome wheels, but those look really sharp on the new Q. Those are 20's? The Q must make them look smaller being such a large vehicle.

The DVD nav is in the center console, but it looks like the rear tv's were added later as well as the roof mounted one. It also looks like everything is running of the stock system which is pretty cool and steath. He must have a hidden DVD player mounted somewhere. The stock DVD nav system in the trunk is a DVD ROM and can't play DVD movies.

Hate to say it. but the bigger wheels really give the car the impact it needs...

LCD screens look like a sloppy install. Good enough for the rapper geek who owned it, I'm sure. Too bad his label dropped him and he had to return the Q.

At the risk of rath . . . I hate to say it, but in these pictures the new Q lacks distinctive styling. It looks like a big Mazda with aftermarket wheels. The wheels look good, definately look aftermarket and not on level with this class of vehicle. The interior is a different story -- it looks great, although I could live without three screens.

I will add that the Q looks great in real life. I have seen an all white and a brown metallic T that I really like. While Q's original design was one of understaement, the new model may take that goal too far considering its price tag.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Aus94Q45. This car does not have much impact. Probably looks better in person.

That's a pretty sloppy LCD screen install on the driver's side headrest.

The rest of the car looks pretty good though.

I think that Infiniti has the platform now, they just need to back it up with an exterior style that makes people stop and look...look at the those stats we saw the other day with the new Q selling behind the old one. I know some dealers that stopped their customers from buying 2001 to wait for the 2002 model too, so ti really doesn't bode well for the exterior.

Let's face it, the AVERAGE person that can afford a brand new 55-60k new car is probably 55 years old and wants to make a statement when they pull up into the country club valet desk...and this doesn't do it, but for me I'd take one in a heartbeat!

Well guys, I think the 2002 Q45 in person looks highly efficient and would be quiet at triple digit speeds. I like the President better, but it is obvious that Nissan is slotting the Cima as its large performance luxury sedan.

Personally, I think a new President needs to be produced, preferably in aluminum a la Audi A8. Forged wheels, big brakes, 5L V-10.

get those heavy chrome "dubs" off my car ...i want my nice stock ones back , and get that lcd crap out of there too , that crap would look fine in a chevy venture , not a 60k mobster car ...

but black looks awesome on that car , still want the G35 more untill im holding my AARP card

im surprised it doesnt sell.....probably becuse it doesnt have its own identity (audi tail/lexus nose/huge grill from a chrysler LHS), still a pretty car in my opinon

After studying the picture I think it is the soft lines of the rims that dont give the car much impact, but the car definatley looks like no Mazda I have ever seen, some 20s with a little more sporty look would really make this thing stand out.
