02 q45 no start problem Help!

With no warning I went to the store. Came out and it just turns over. Read the codes and got 1610 and 1611. Also had one that said ignition circuit. Anyone had this issue?

1610 and 1611 are for the anti-theft system. Whenever you get the 1610 code means you're stuck in "lock mode". Basically the anti-theft unit goes between the ECU and the key switch, so if the anti-theft unit loses it's "memory" of the keys you have, it probably means it needs replaced. Another thing you could try is if you have a different key.

Regardless, unfortunately for this type of issue it sounds like you're going to need to take the car to the dealer so they can diagnose the system using a CONSULT, and they will probably have to reprogram the keys.

Thanks for the info. I just noticed that the security led comes on and stays on whenthe key is inserted.
