Ok guys as you know I have been upgrading and improving my 02 Q45 and while its been running amazing for weeks i had something happen that makes zero sense to me and need some guidance from some of u more tech savy electrical gurus. I was driving normally and was in manual mode i was going like 45mph and switched to auto mode and suddenly car wigged tcs, slip lights come on and the car goes into limp mode. I pulled codes and would get p0120, p0121, p0100, p0105, p1446, among a few others like the rad coolant switch. Well I know this was not gunna be a ton of sensors just going bad out of the blue so I started to think it was a dirty sensor connection so cleaned all sensors and cleared codes and nothing. Disconnected batt and nothing and like after 45 mins of messing with connectors, and clearing codes and such suddenly it goes away. It drove home fine and has been driving fine for days and Ive been driving it in both manual mode and auto mode. But today it did it again also when switching from auto to manual and it decided to wig again and codes are p0120, p0121, p0100, p0105, p1446 and I have a good spare TB so switched that cleared code and nothing changed. I changed to a new TCU that I know is good as well and cleared codes and reconnected battery and that did nothing as well. I am at a complete loss and dont want to take it to the dealer to be charged an arm and a leg if its not to serious. Just dont know what it could be but any help would be great thanks

well after all that you would think that it woulda been something profound or big but alas come to find out the power steering pump pressure switch was the cause of all this trouble. It runs on the same circuit as the TB sensor 1 and 2, MAFS, evap and so forth which are all the codes kicking on. So traced it back to the pressure switch which was backfeeding and messing crap up so changed it and poof works like a dream again. Hope this helps someone in the future cus it sure was a weird one for me

That is strange indeed, and thanks for sharing your findings with us q45-02. Being the kind of person I am, I will go through the manual to figure out how the signals actually mess with each other... haha

I poked around the FSM for some time and all I could find was that in normal operation the output of the power steering pressure switch will affect the opening of the TB.
Could you point me to the section and page you're looking at?
