My 2002 Q45 stopped honking when I lock the car with the remote.I checked the settings, and it was set to flash and horn. When I change it to flash only, no flashes or horn when I lock it. When it's set to flash and horn, it only flashes. I pulled the horn relay and checked the connection and replaced the horn fuse. I also ran the power lock system self diagnosis and it came back with code 2 passenger door lock actuator / unlock sensor. I believe the actuator and sensor are the same part, all the doors lock fine. Any guesses or suggestions. The horn relay is $9 and the actuator is $130.P.S. the horn does honk when I press the emergency button or the button on the steering wheel. Thanks

EDIT:i decided to read manual and just holding unlock button will roll windows down

If the horn works when you press the emergency button or steering wheel, I think you can eliminate the relay. Might be worth disconnecting the battery overnight to see if it's a software glitch that will reset...

When you lock the doors with the remote, check that the Security LED changes from blinking to steady illumination (armed state) for @ 30 seconds and then blinking again. If the Security LED remains blinking when the doors are locked, you have a defective sensor. The doors, hood and trunk positions are monitored as part of the NATS (Nissan Anti Theft System).
