02 Q45 headlamp aiming/alignment

I searched around but didn't find any information, photos or guides on how to align the low beams. I read the FSM and can't make heads or tails out of the text or drawings. I don't really want to take it to a dealer to have them adjusted, but I really need it done. I have a big rectangular void dead center about 1.5 car lengths in front - very dangerous and unnerving. Thanks
