My '02 Q45 has black interior and this dark like smoked charcoal wood grain paneling in the usual places. The problem is the biggest panel around the control center is just the standard black plastic.I want to get that control panel to match everything else.

Every place I've seen that has these parts wants to sell the whole interior kit and I've never seen this color as an option.

I just need the dash piece and I would take the sunglass / dome light kit in the same color depending on price.

Then my car would be complete and perfect and I wouldn't need another thing for it and would never have to spend another penny on the car. I swear!

O'course my seat belt guide squeaks really loud, so I could use some o' dem. Maybe some custom wheels.

But then that's it!

You might want to give Jason Burtman a call. He's a NICO poster and his company produces dash kits, etc.

I didn't see the color you're describing, but I know he's shown us that color before. Worth a call. Maybe he can fab one up for you.

Thanks.

Yeah, I've seen his site and that's kinda where I got the idea for the kit. I just didn't see my color.

I didn't honestly think of calling them.

See what the computer age is doing to us? I pass on sites all the time if I don't see what I'm looking for. I think that is partly because we as Americans have gotten so sucky at customer service.

We just don't give good phone anymore.

Think about how many times you've HAD to deal with a vendor of some kind over the phone. I'd say I walk away from 75% of those phone conversations frustrated and am left wishing I had just done what I needed to do via the web.

That's my rant!

I'll give this Burtman guy a call, but if it goes bad I'll be at 76%. Once I hit 80% frustration, I check out and become a recluse.

Email Jason. He can do all kinds of stuff not shown on his site, and he can email you samples of different kinds of wood. I've purchased wood pieces from him and had a very very good experience. Price was reasonable too.

I had a related question, what comes with the "basic" kit and the "extended kit?"

Some things are so simple.

Jason is a stand-up guy.

I'm confused!

Anyway, thanks Jason for getting back. I still haven't shot photos of my car yet, so I don't have anything to show you. The color of my dask kit is definitely unique. I've never seen another one like it.

I've just been delaying photo's until I have the car detailed. And I haven't been able to do that cuz I had the windows tinted and then had to have them done again due to a crappy job the 1st time.

Pic's for you and NICO coming soon.
