02 q45 cruise control not working

so i had taken out my engine a few weeks ago to change all the gaskets. i put it in everything works fine no check engine light or anything but the cruise control would not turn on at all. when i press to turn it on im not getting no response at all not even the lights come on. although i have had my air bag light come on when i started the car for the first time after i put it in but i reset that and have not had an issue with those. is there some kind of procedure i have to do for the cruise control too or has it just gone bust?

Most common issue I've seen with the cruise control on Q's is the 2 switches on the brake pedal.

I'm assuming you don't have the intelligent cruise control, so you'll be in the first section. On page 16 there's a chart on possible causes for whatever symptom you're having.
