02 Q - why are my heated seats so slow to warm up?

I have a 04 pathfinder by 10 min I have to put it on low or I'll get some serious bubble gum stuck to the thigh.

I have an '06 Altima with heated seats, and they also take forever to get warm.
I figured it was just a Nissan thing.

No probs with my 99.5 Pathy. In fact, my seats get really hot in minutes. Fun to play jokes on my unsuspecting passengers!

They will take some time depending upon if you left it outside instead of in a garage, outside temp, etc. And also how thick your clothing is before you feel it. I think its normal as I have the same setup across others cars and its more or less requires the same time.
