Looking to do a lot of performance/ mountain driving..Evans tire recommended Pirelli P-Zeros.. $225 each (245/45/18) ....Michelin PS2 are about $288 each....no warranties on life as both are performance tires..Discount has told me that the difference is noise... Pirelli is noisy....Which way should I proceed....(Evans giving 4 wheel lifetime alignment too.. w/ purchase.. ($1200 out the door.. vs $1500 w/ ps 2 from Discount out the door.. no alignment)..ThanksHaggis

Michelin is certainly the choice if UPFONT cost isnt a concern. With most other brands the upfront savings may soon be forgotton if you are unhappy with the long term performance of the tire....feeling like taking a risk,or going with a sure thing? Only you can make that decision{well maybe the wife can if you make the mistake of including her in on the decision process}
