02 problems.

I got a 02 gxe sentra. 180k miles (more like 200k shutoff the speedo for a bit)

anyways i got a new clutch in fall OEM forget the name but the guy who did it said the fly wheel looked fine and didnt need to be resurfaced. After he did the job he said i would need a little bit of transmission fluid. I just recently got that topped off it wasnt bad but now i have a huge noise problem.

I will try to give as much info as possable.

W/o clutch in, in any gear includeing neutral i hear a loud grinding sound.W clutch in i hear no sounds execept the engine.

W/o clutch in coasting in neutral i hear no sounds but once i come to a stop i hear it again.

Also when im pressing the gas just enough to maintain the same speed the sound is allmost totaly gone.

Anyone have a idea of what this is? I hope i just need a transmission flush but i understand i may need a new flywheel which will piss me off big time. My friend who is very good with cars also said my clutch is slipping i dont belive it because i have done the 3rd gear start and no slip and i have never had it slip on me ever.

Did you replace the throw out bearing when you replaced the clutch? That is more than likely the problem and only noticeable when the clutch is depressed.

yeah the whole clutch was replaced all 4 throw out bearing all of it.
