This issue just started about 2 weeks ago, no service engine light present. On cold start, rpm will be around 1250, when the engine is warmed up from driving about 750. When stopped while warm, in D the idle will stay strong at 750 for about 20-30 seconds then start to drop off. Sometimes bouncing off 0 and coming back to life, other times dying altogether. some mornings on cold start, the belts squeal and i'm fairly certain the power steering belt is to blame as it gets louder as i turn the wheel. Anyways, I've read through posts like this, mainly left with the conclusion that it could be MAF, IACV, TPS, ECM. All of which are less than 2 years old..since the ecm fried about 2 years ago and the mechanic worked his way down the line of those sensors before finding it to be ecm. Idle air relearn, found on this forum comes up inconclusive after many tries. Is there something that can be done to completely abolish the idle issues, or should i just bag it down to the nearest Jeep dealership and trade it in? :wtf2:

Kind of sounds to me like your ECM might be fried again, what causes the ECM to fry is the IACV gasket leaks coolant and causes a short that takes out your ECM, Was your IACV gasket replaced before the ECM was replaced the last time? because if it wasn't it will just short out the new ECM.

Normally it will trigger the service engine soon light and throw codes but maybe in your case it has not.

This is a very common issue with the Pathfinders and QX-4, there are many threads on here on the subject.
