I've searched a come up with a bunch of stuff for the '01, but nothing for the '02.

There is a TSB for the '01's that suggest a new TCM and solenoid assmbly. Also read a few people changed the fuel filter. Some people cleaned the MAF. Then I read the flare is normal when cold to protect transmission.

Mine does it first thing in cold weather (under 10 celcius). When the truck shifts from 2-3 the RPM gauge increases, then it shifts. After the vehicle warms up it goes away. This past summer I had the transmission flushed with Nissan fluid & the fuel filter changed just as reg maintenance.

Any thoughts? TCM and solenoid are quite expensive, but then again, it this normal operation? Does the TSB apply to '02's as well?

Thanks
