02 nissan sentra spec v need motor!!!!

my brother lives in fayettvile NC he has a 02 sentra spec v.he threw a rod and is in need of a motor or just a good bottom end ( QR25DE ).also he is not a great mechanic not a bad one just no exp so does any one have any advise for him or any one in the area know of a cheap motor i would be glad to help him but i live in boise ID. he has limited funds on this too he has 4 kids and is down to one car so please help
