02 nissan Sentra Spec v79,889 miles.

in my attempts to install my own stereo, i messed up my dash lights. i was being cheap and decided not to buy the harness for 5 bucks and now dash lights wont light up when i turn on my headlights. my stereo does work, but the lights dont. everything else works. I cut the factory harness straight across. when i cut i noticed all the lights flash twice.

Question: if i was to sauder everything back together, would that fix the problem?

anything would help. thank you.

Check your fuses, you might have blown one or two of them. When you cut across all the wires, your shorted something out since you didn't disconnect the battery first. I've done that before, now I go and buy harnesses. Check the auto parts store, they're sometimes cheaper than best buy or the local stereo shop.
