I have a 02 Nissan Altima 3.5. I have a code p0328. I am trying to locate the knock sensor on this car.
does anybody know where it is at?

Also my car won't shift out of park so I have been using a screwdriver in the shift lock slot. Can someone help me
fix these problems please? (Diagrams would help)

Do the brake lights work? If not, the stop light switch is the most likely cause and can also prevent you from shifting out of Park.

Do you have any codes other than P0328? The knock sensor is buried under the intake manifolds, it's a bear to get to. See page EM-186 of the factory service manual for its location.

No, the brake lights no not work either. Do you think that the neutral safety switch would have anything to do with it?

I have a few o2 sesor codes but that is all. Also, It says bank 1 knock sensor, i heard there are two how do i know which one?

Thanks for your response i am trying to fix my brothers car for him!

It's possible, but I would replace the brake light switch first.

Please post all engine codes. If there are any upstream oxygen sensor codes, this may be causing your P0328 code as a side effect of an incorrect air/fuel ratio due to a faulty O2 sensor.
