Hey Folks,
So I took my car to AutoZone today because the dreaded 'Service Engine Soon' light turned on today! ....Anyways, the error code I got was 'P1320' and here's what the Autozone tech suggested the code meant:
- EGR system fault (exhaus gas recirculation) Explanation - The ECM has detected too little flow on the EGR systems
Probable cause:1. Blocked passage on EGR system2. Failed EGR Value3. EGR solenoid faulty4. Failed EGR pressure sensor where applicable5. Failed EGR position sensor where applicable
Definition:
- Vacuum cut valve bypass valve
Probable cause:1. Failed vacuum cut valve bypass valve2. Blocked line.
Any pointers/suggestions as to what I can do? I am far from mechanical but definitely willing and wanting to learn. Don't really wanna take it to a mechanic but if I have to I will. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
