I have finally started on my stereo install. Box is 75%+ complete and will be appx 1.2cf (usable) for a JL 12w6. I have to cut the sub hole, seal the back section of the enclosure with silicone, mount the front section, seal the front of the enclosure, seal the whole enclosure internally with fiberglass resin, put 1.5lbs of polyfill in there, carpet the box, and mount the sub. Of course, there will be some routering and sanding first.

Here a step-by-step tour of todays events...

1. All boards are cut (except cutouts) and waiting to be put together:

It has some rough edges. Unfortunately my table saw does not have extensions so I had to free-had the cuts It'll look fine when I'm done and it's carpeted....

Anyway, most of the install is complete. MB Quarts were replaced with Infiniti Reference 6000cs front seperates. I also have a AudioControl 24Xs on order since my 4Xs broke on me.

System is not all the way in yet nor is it tuned (sub is running full range and I don't have the proper passive Xovers installed for the fronts. I did not get the Electronic Xover until Monday so it's not really ready to show off or anything. Hopefully by this weekend it will be in and the pre-amp "tuned". I did have the trunk open showing off the box and such tho
