02 Maxima P1800 code

Hi guys. So my Maxima with 312k miles wouldn't start last night. Lots of mileage, I know. The lights are on, no cranking sound, and a fairly new alternator and starter. I recently got the code P1800 which is the VIAS Solenoid. Question, can this cause the car to not start? I have contacted my local stealership which told me it costs around $199.00.

If your car does not crank, then your problem is not caused by VIAS, it's something else. Check your battery voltage - it should be about 12.5V with the engine not running. Check the connection between the battery and the starter; are you getting the battery voltage to the starter when you crank?
